Summer Jobs Position: Engagement Coordinator

With multi-year funding from Ontario’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, we’re quickly growing. We’ve invested in an agile tech platform, and new features released in the coming months will allow us to engage even more households and partners. We are expanding and deepening our reach to five new cities across Ontario by 2020.

We’re looking for an Engagement & Marketing Specialist to help us get there.


The Local Engagement Coordinator supports the promotion of Project Neutral’s household carbon benchmarking and action platform in Toronto. The successful applicant will work directly with PN’s Engagement and Marketing Specialist, and develop their public outreach, climate action and non-profit leadership experience.

This position is made possible with support from Canada Summer Jobs and only applicants who meet all of the following criteria will be considered:

  • Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
  • Have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in September;
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
